I sought Elvia's expertise after a series of lackluster performance for middle and long course triathlon races.
Her advice has helped me attain a personal best time of 5:11:16 for IM70.3 Taiwan 2018. This is an improvement of 34 minutes and I am pleased to say that she has been instrumental in cobbling together a solid race nutrition strategy.
I am impressed by Elvia's professionalism and am looking forward to working with her again to fine tune my nutrition and recovery strategy.

Running supposed to be my strongest in the 3 disciplines of triathlon, but I have never did a proper run for all my past triathlon races. I was always end up walking from 1/3 to half of the run course due to cramp and improper fueling.
For the first time, I completed the run in a triathlon race without walking!
And I finished with a decent timing, much better than my expectation.
Never have I enjoy a race so much that I am looking forward for more to come. Read more

I reached out to Elvia after hearing some positive feedback from fellow triathletes about what she has done for them.
Elvia first set up an appointment with me to gather the necessary information about my fitness, my past races, my current nutrition details etc.
Then she will adjust my nutritions intake and if need to, advice on the type of alternative nutritions, base on my feedback. I find this useful as I am able to adjust accordingly until I find something that I am comfortable with.
Being a triathlete herself, Elvia understand the importance of balancing proper training, nutrition and recovery. Other than nutrition, she also gave advice on proper recovery for myself.
I have never knew what is proper recovery until now and I started to see improvement in the quality of my training. In fact, many times, she has to ‘order’ me to eat and rest properly!
A couple of weeks before the race, Elvia would get the race details from me to analyse them, and then provided a detailed nutrition plan for me to practise during my training. And she will adjusted the nutrition plan accordingly after my feedback after every training.
I find this very useful as I am able to practise my nutrition according to the race course, and it took all the nutrition planning out of my mind, and allow me to really focus on my training as well as my race.

Signing up for Danang 70.3, I knew I need nutrition guidance. It’s a hot race and I’ve always had trouble getting nutrition in during races. But not this 70.3!
Under Elvia’s guidance in the weeks leading up to the race, during race week and actual race day, I fuelled well during trainings, recovered well to repeat the long weekend trainings. Elvia also made sure I ate the right food during race week.
Race day nutrition has been practiced, tweaked via close and frequent communications with Elvia and hence executed properly!
Despite the sweltering race conditions, I biked and ran well without any cramps and was able to push myself harder than I’ve ever had in all my past races.
Elvia’s expert knowledge coupled with robust communications made the process very fun, enjoyable and very rewarding! Thank you, Elvia!

While the healthy diet helped me to score better in my annual medical reviews, it didn’t give me the result I was looking for, for my races.
The change came when I consulted Elvia early 2019 as I prepared for Danang Ironman 70.3 in May 2019.
A race that I managed to complete with a decent timing despite my work and travel schedule, and also considering that I took a 9-month break from all training prior. What amazed me was how my body felt different during the race, and I believed that it is not just the hours of training I put in but also the nutrition advice and the race nutrition plan.
This race boosted my confidence as I prepared for another two races in November 2019 under Elvia’s guidance.
The two races in November were just 2 weeks apart. I managed to shave off about 5 minutes for Xiamen 70.3 compared to Danang 70.3. And I took another 13 minutes off for Western Sydney 70.3 and came in with my best timing after 4 years into this sport. All this could not have been possible with just the hours of training alone, the nutrition plans played an important role in helping me achieve this result.
Elvia is thoughtful and diligent. She provides insightful dietary advice and detailed nutrition plans based on the athlete’s lifestyle which helps with training recovery as well as race day. Her empowering approach allows athletes to better understand and learn from the process.
